A perfect life in an imperfect world! Is that even possible? I mean how can life be perfect for someone who just lost a loved one, or someone fighting a fatal disease, or someone who lost their limbs or eyes in an accident, or someone struggling to raise a special needs child, or someone facing poverty, or someone whose heart is broken into millions of pieces by their very own beloved people, or someone being mistreated, molested or maligned at the hands of the evil people in our society!

How can we say life is perfect for them?

This life, my dear readers, is actually a love story between the Creator who is Ar Rahman and His creation that is us. We come from Allah and to Him we return. Our Creator loves us so much that He chooses nothing but the best for us. His desire for us is to achieve the most perfect place ever created for us, which is Jannah and so He puts us in tribulations which are obviously only as big as we can handle, although they may seem unbearable, to remind us of the ultimate reality that awaits us in the hereafter. It is like when parents ground their teenagers and withhold all their luxuries that they can easily provide them with, in order to make them struggle and work hard and achieve higher goals in life or sometimes parents do this just to protect them from hurting themselves and ruining their lives by falling in bad company. Even if the child doesn’t understand the parents’ behavior at that time the parents know what they’re doing.

So yes coming back to where we started, we all can live a perfect life in this imperfect world of ours by accepting whatever Allah places on our shoulders, no matter how big or small it is. With all our strength and ability and with absolute faith in Allah’s plan we should give our best shot at life and experience the peace and tranquility within, which comes with patience, gratitude and hopefulness towards our Creator.
